Our Impact Committees at Lake 100 are the driving force behind our advocacy and initiatives. Through the dedicated efforts of these committees, we can accomplish significant progress in our mission, fostering positive change and development within our community. Each committee focuses on specific areas of impact, leveraging the expertise and passion of our members to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Our Impact Committees

Public Policy Committee

 Lake 100’s Public Policy Committee serves as the driving force behind the organization’s efforts to influence government policies, regulations, and legislation that impact the business community. The Public Policy Committee is responsible for, monitoring legislation, developing and implementing strategies to advocate for or against specific policies, and crafting the organization’s official positions on key issues.

Friends of Lake County Trails

Our Trails Committee is committed to enhancing and expanding the network of trails throughout Lake County. This committee focuses on developing, maintaining, and promoting trails that provide recreational opportunities, support healthy lifestyles, and connect communities. By collaborating with local government, organizations, and residents, the committee aims to create a safe, accessible, and enjoyable trail system for everyone to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of our region.

Economic & Fiscal Sustainability Committee

Lake 100’s Economic and Fiscal Sustainability Committee is responsible for developing and promoting strategies, policies, and practices that ensure the long-term financial health and resilience of Lake County and the business community.  The group conducts research & development for innovative tools and policy, advocates for proven policy, sets forth initiatives, and collaborates with the public sector and community through education and outreach.

Culture Committee

Lake 100’s Culture Committee’s primary focus is to foster and enhance the Lake 100 culture and values withing the organization and within the community.  In addition to promoting core values, the team is responsible for enhancing member engagement, organizational succession planning, and the education and development of members and civic leaders.

Placemaking Committee

The Placemaking Committee is responsible for research, development, and recommendation for policy that promotes and sustains the natural environment, built environment, public realm in correlation with the long-term vision for Lake County.  The team is committed to partnership development, advocacy, and engagement to ensure a Lake County that is successful today and over the next 20 years.
